These Terms of Use govern your use of https://www.bearpackonlineservices.com (the “Site”), operated by Tristan Salisbury (trading as Bearpack Sound Lab, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) What this site is

Bearpack Sound Lab is an independent music hub featuring embedded music and video content, live social feeds, and an AI-powered assistant. The Site does not currently sell products or accept payments. It embeds third-party content from YouTube, Spotify, X (Twitter), and Facebook — each governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

2) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or component of the Site
• Interfere with Site availability (DDoS, abusive scraping, brute-force, etc.)
• Submit harmful, abusive, or spam content via the AI chat or contact form
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

3) AI chat assistant

The Site includes an AI-powered chat feature. Please note:

• Responses are generated by a third-party AI model (OpenAI) and may contain errors
• Do not submit passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal data via chat
• The chat is rate-limited — excessive requests will be temporarily blocked
• Chat history is stored in your browser session only and is not retained on our servers

4) Intellectual property

All original music, artwork, and content associated with Bearpack Sound Lab is owned by or licensed to Tristan Salisbury. You may listen to and share content using the platform tools provided (YouTube, Spotify, etc.) in accordance with those platforms' terms. Unauthorised reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of our music requires written permission — see the Music Use License.

5) Third-party content and links

The Site embeds content from YouTube, Spotify, X/Twitter, and Facebook. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of those platforms. Your interactions with embedded players are subject to each platform's own terms.

6) Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. See our Disclaimers pagefor full details.

7) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or its content.

8) Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
