Music Use License
Effective date: March 12, 2026
This page describes how music produced by Bearpack Sound Lab (Tristan Salisbury, Windsor, ON, Canada) may be used by content creators.
1) What “creator-friendly” means
Bearpack Sound Lab produces original music designed for use in online content — YouTube videos, live streams, podcasts, and social media posts. Our music is distributed via YouTube Content ID and Spotify. When we describe music as “DMCA-safe” or “creator-friendly,” we mean it is our original work and we control the rights.
2) Permitted uses (free)
You may use Bearpack Sound Lab music in your content for free, provided all of the following apply:
- Your content is non-commercial, or monetised only through standard platform ad revenue sharing (e.g. YouTube Partner Program)
- You credit Bearpack Sound Lab in your video/stream description, e.g.: “Music: Bearpack Sound Lab — bearpackonlineservices.com”
- You do not claim ownership of the music or register it under your own Content ID or copyright
- You do not re-edit or release the music as a standalone track under your own name
3) Uses that require written permission
The following uses require a separate written licence from us:
- Sync licensing for film, TV, advertising, or commercial productions
- Inclusion in a paid product, course, app, or software bundle
- Re-releasing, remixing, or distributing the music on streaming platforms
- Any use where you need to register or claim the music as your own
To enquire, email Arcticasters@gmail.com with the subject line “Sync Licence Enquiry.”
4) Where to find our music
- YouTube: youtube.com/@MusicByBearpack
- Spotify: Bearpack Sound Lab on Spotify
5) Warranty disclaimer
Music is provided “as is.” We make no guarantee that third-party platforms will not flag content — Content ID systems can behave unexpectedly. Contact us if you receive an erroneous claim and we will work to resolve it.
