This Privacy Policy explains how Tristan Salisbury (trading as Bearpack Sound Lab, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit https://www.bearpackonlineservices.com (the “Site”). We do not sell your data.

AI chat messages — text you submit to the AI assistant during a session

Server and access logs — Vercel (our hosting provider) may log IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps as part of standard infrastructure operation
Aggregate analytics — we may use privacy-friendly analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics) to understand page traffic. No personal profiles are built; data is anonymised and aggregate only

C) Third-party embeds

The Site embeds content from YouTube, Spotify, X (Twitter), and Facebook. These platforms may collect data — including cookies and usage data — under their own privacy policies. We do not control how they collect or process your data:

4) AI chat processing

The AI chat sends your messages to OpenAI for real-time response generation. Messages are not stored on our servers after the response is delivered. Chat history is kept only in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab or click “New chat.” Do not share sensitive personal information, passwords, or payment details in the chat.

OpenAI's privacy policy applies to data processed by their models: openai.com/privacy.

5) Contact form

If you submit a contact form, your name, email, and message are sent via Resend (our email delivery provider) and delivered to our inbox. We retain contact enquiries for up to 2 years, then delete them.

6) Service providers

We use the following providers to operate the Site:

Vercel — web hosting and infrastructure (United States)
OpenAI — AI chat message processing (United States)
Resend — email delivery for contact form submissions (United States)

These providers are contractually obligated to handle data only for purposes we specify. Data processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.

7) Data retention

AI chat: Not stored server-side. Cleared from your browser when the session ends.
Contact enquiries: Retained up to 2 years.
Server logs: Retained per Vercel's policies (typically 30 days).

8) Your rights (Canada / PIPEDA)

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Email Arcticasters@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.”

10) Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
