Marketing Communications (Anti-Spam Compliance)
Effective date: December 24, 2025
We follow Canada’s anti-spam rules for commercial electronic messages (CEMs). This page explains how we handle marketing communications.
1) Consent
We seek express consent where required before sending marketing emails or other CEMs. In limited cases, implied consent may apply as permitted by law.
2) Sender identification
Our marketing messages clearly identify:
- Sender: BearPack Online Services (Tristan Salisbury)
- Mailing address: Tristan Salisbury, 2375 Tecumseh Rd W, Ste 1 #1255, Windsor, ON N9B 1W2, Canada
- Email contact: ArctiCasters@gmail.com
3) Unsubscribe and consent management
Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe method. Unsubscribe requests are processed without delayand in any event within 10 business days after the request is made.
If you have not consented to receive marketing communications but are receiving them, please contact us at ArctiCasters@gmail.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and we will remove you immediately.
6) Consent types
We comply with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) which recognizes two types of consent:
- Express consent: You explicitly agree to receive marketing from us
- Implied consent: Applies in limited cases, such as existing customer relationships
For new recipients, we typically seek express consent before adding them to our marketing list.
4) Transactional messages
Service-related messages (project updates, invoices, security notices) are not marketing and may be sent as part of providing services.
